Daryl Cronk

Senior Economist

Daryl joins Tourism Economics with more than 20 years of experience conducting market research and economic analysis in the tourism industry, covering a variety of quantitative and qualitative methodologies. 

His previous experience includes serving on CoStar’s hospitality analytics team and leading the market research and business insights teams at Visit Orlando for nearly two decades.

In his role as Senior Economist, Daryl's expertise in consumer research and travel industry analysis expands upon Tourism Economics' depth of intelligence. His work involves developing hotel metric, visitor volume and visitor spending forecasts—plus, overseeing projects for destination and association clients.

An experienced presenter, Daryl also enjoys delivering meaningful insights at industry events.

Prior to tourism, Daryl began his career as an Economist in the United States Treasury Department. He studied Finance and Economics at James Madison University and earned a Master of Arts in Applied Economics from the University of Central Florida.
