Senior Manager, Client Relationships and Insights

Patrick joined Tourism Economics in late 2021, supporting new and existing clients on the Symphony platform. His prior experience in the tourism industry totals more than 16 years, with both hotel and DMO experience across finance and revenue management disciplines. 

Patrick most recently was Senior Director of Convention Strategy at Visit Seattle for over seven years. In this newly established role, he directed booking strategy on all convention center business with a focus on space and room optimization in the Seattle market. He developed methods to evaluate space pricing to bridge profitability goals with destination competitiveness and collaborated with hotel leadership to ensure strategic alignment. He also worked closely with senior leadership on data analysis and interpretation and on reporting development. 

His career began with MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas, serving in analyst and senior analyst roles within Financial Planning and Analysis at MGM Grand Hotel Casino before transitioning into revenue management. He was revenue manager for The Signature at MGM Grand Hotel and then New York New York Hotel Casino before being promoted to Director of Revenue Management overseeing the Luxor Hotel Casino, Excalibur Hotel Casino, and Circus Circus Hotel Casino. He was directly responsible for yield management and pricing strategies and worked with hotel sales, marketing, and leadership teams. 

Patrick is originally from Buffalo, NY and graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Hotel and Resort Management from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY.
